Valley was typical of many under-performing planned communities
- lots of potential and promise, but loaded with problems.
The six hundred and forty four acre country club community
near Princeton, New Jersey was not coming close to meeting
investor expectations.
Where
others saw under-performance, Kitson & Partners saw
potential.
 In
short order K&P accelerated development across the entire
project, obtaining necessary rezoning to expand the existing
line of available homes. Other project highlights include
the completion of a $3.2 million, 16,000-sqare-foot golf
clubhouse and the reorganization of the day-to-day management
of the country club. These key management moves quickly
pulled the club out of a serious annual deficit situation.
So
impressed were the editors of Golf Magazine that they named
Cherry Valley one of New Jersey's premier golf clubs.
